  • OCCO 2009 Printing Ink Symposium Cancellation

We regret to announce the cancellation of the Printing Ink Symposium for March 2009. Circumstances beyond our control and the current economic climate have made conditions difficult to put on our annual event.

We hope to continue the Printing Ink symposium showcases in the future. Thank you for your contributions over the past 12 years and we hope for your continued support in the coming years.

  • The OCCO Education Committee has announced that the 2008 - 2009 OCCO Printing Ink Technology Course (Year 1 - Printing Ink Raw Materials) will begin Monday September 8, 2008 at 6:15 pm in Room 494F at George Brown College, St. James Campus, 200 King Street East in Toronto.

This is the 32nd year of this unique course that provides theoretical and practical knowledge about printing ink processes, raw materials, formulations, and various aspects of the manufacturing.

Although the 3 year course is designed primarily for individuals in the printing ink industry, it has proven extremely valuable to suppliers to the printing ink and graphics arts industries as well as printers who have wanted to acquire additional information about printing and printing ink.
