Annual General Meeting

The annual general meeting will take place on April 23, 2008 at:

Tony Roma's Restaurant

2575 Dundas Street West

Mississauga

The meeting will start at 5:00 pm with a reception and at 5:40 pm with the meeting itsself.

 

The agenda for the meeting includes the following items:

  • Election of a new Chairman
  • Elections of all positions as listed on the left hand side of the newsletter
  • Plant tour
  • Other business

Twelfth Annual Printing Ink Symposium

Our twelfth annual printing ink symposium was a sucess.On March 29th 2008 the Annual OCCO Printing Ink Symposium was held at the Stage West Hotel in Mississauga. The event was sold out as 10 speakers from around the Industry gave presentations on various topics and technologies on ink.

The symposium included the following speakers:

  • Pigments, Dispersions and Stir-In Colorants for Non-Aqueous Inkjet Ink, Mark Ortalano, Sun Chemical USA

  • Novel White Pigment for Corrugated Board Inks, Juha Kuusivaara, Kemira Pigments Oy

  • Additive Approach Toward High Performance Inks, Diana Hull, Lubrizol Advanced Materials, Inc.

  • Controlled Polymerization Technology (CPT) – Novel Technology for Synthesizing Polymers, Gene Franklin, BYK USA

  • Waterborne UV Inks & Overprint Varnish, Andrew Seecharan, TS&D Graphics-Radcure, Cytec Industries Inc
